He source of wealth is unknown, though rumour has it that he owns a gold refining company. Even his father in-law Bernie is uncertain as to Stunt's source of wealth.'He thought to himself, "What has James ever done to acquire that sort of money?" Billionaire art collector James Stunt has been spotted out his $4.4 million Lamborghini for the first time.

The 34-year-old, the husband of Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone, splashed out on the one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Aventador last month, a car that looks like something from sci-fi movie.

Even by the time he began dating Petra after meeting her on a blind date in London in 2006, Stunt was whizzing around town in flashy Lamborghini. Online estimates – by no means reliable, of course – give his wealth as anything up to a staggering £3.6 billion. But even the wily 85-year-old Mr Ecclestone seems at a loss to know exactly how he came about his fortune.
